While her bingo win was by no means paltry, it could have been even better for the 57-year-old after she tied with six other bingo players, meaning the £200,000 kitty had to be shared out, the Barking and Dagenham Recorder reports.
Despite seeing her potential winnings split seven ways, the grandmother-of-two was still over the moon.
She told the paper: "I was in shock when I realised I had won. My daughter, who was playing with me, was very excited.
"Ever since, people have been congratulating me and telling me I should enjoy my winnings, which I will."
She revealed that the enjoyment will start with a holiday for her family, while she hopes to live in a little more comfort, literally, by buying some new furniture.
