The win initially caused a little bit of panic when the lucky player first realised what had happened, with the staff having to come to the rescue with a sweet cuppa.
"I was shaking like a leaf when I was told how much it was," the winner said. "I just couldn't believe it! I'm diabetic and my blood sugar dropped due to the shock, so the staff at the club had to fetch me a cup of tea!"
Gala Bingo clubs seem to have been the place be in recent times, with the £20,000 winner following two wins of more than £100,000.
