The 59-year-old grandmother from South Cerney is putting her winnings to a holiday in Florida to see her sister after getting lucky at the numbers game at the Greenbridge Retail Park, Swindon, according to the Gala website.
Although she does not wish to be named, the bingo fan also mentioned that she will honour an agreement made with her sister-in-law - also her regular bingo playing pal - to split any winnings between them down the middle.
The win initially caused a little bit of panic when the lucky player first realised what had happened, with the staff having to come to the rescue with a sweet cuppa.
"I was shaking like a leaf when I was told how much it was," the winner said. "I just couldn't believe it! I'm diabetic and my blood sugar dropped due to the shock, so the staff at the club had to fetch me a cup of tea!"
Gala Bingo clubs seem to have been the place be in recent times, with the £20,000 winner following two wins of more than £100,000.
