The lifestyle website dedicated to women, iVillage.co.uk, is to provide
The decision to have the chance to play bingo on the site came after a study of the 3.3 million people who use the site on a monthly basis, according to Netimperative.
Rahman Mohammed, iVillage sales director, explained: "Nearly one third of women on iVillage have asked for more games. Many of these women are already playing games on the internet, but want to play them on their favourite website."
As a result, the website will launch the new games channel offering online bingo for people to enjoy throughout the day, whether it be during their lunch break at the office or when they get home after a hard day's work.
The bingo side of the games channel will be provided by St Minver, the company that also powers online bingo games found at Virgin Games and Lastminute.com.
The games channel will provide other entertainment such as peer-to-peer gaming and word, puzzle and board games.
