British bingo addicts can get their fill of 90 balls at the new Blackpool Bingo website.

The service, launched by Christchurch Casinos, aims to bring the buzz and excitement of the North's favourite sea-side resort to the comfort of your own home.

Many online bingo games offer the American version of Bingo – 75-ball. Blackpool Bingo brings the authentic Bingo experience home with the British 90-ball version, taking money and giving prizes in pounds and pence.

"In the last few years it's made the transition to the internet but until recently has always played second fiddle to the American 75-ball version. Blackpool Bingo will change all that," said James Ball of Blackpool Bingo.

It also tries to re-create the atmosphere of a pool hall with a set of online tools to help you communicate with fellow players, using a detachable advanced chat system.

Mr Ball said: "With our multi-window option you can be chatting away nineteen to the dozen while keeping an eye on how well your cards are doing. Gone are the cramped 'chat boxes' squeezed into the corner of the screen."

Players can also pre-buy cards and employ their cards to win for them automatically.
