BORING BINGO BERNIE GIVEN THE BOOT

After a two year tenure in the roll calling out the numbers to expectant and hopeful players, Bernie has been voted out as regular caller due to being too "boring".
Bernie can be happy with his time though. Since ThinkBingo.com opened the first of its five online bingo halls in August 2004, Bernie's recorded voice has overseen more than £16 million in prize money being handed out among 50,000 ThinkBingo.com players.
To bring even more excitement in to online play, players will now get the dulcet tones of ex-Gala Bingo hall legend Alan Stockdale.
And Alan certainly brings some experience to the role having been a former winner of the National Bingo Game Association Caller of the Year award and twice Regional Winner.
"I'm confident I can pick up where Bernie left off and not disappoint the Think Bingo ladies," said Alan, though he did admit to having a few nerves, calling for such a big and popular online bingo hall.
"I'm anxious because it’s a demanding position and Bernie is one heck of an act to follow," he said.
Players said they will mourn the passing of Bernie's familiar voice but are looking forward to a more exciting future.
