SWINDON MUM STUNNED BY BINGO WIN

A mother was left sleepless in Swindon last weekend, unable to believe she had scooped £20,000 playing bingo.

Wendy Beebee, 31, was playing at the Greenbridge Gala Bingo hall, when she reached a full house in 42 numbers, the Swindon Advertiser reports.

Despite playing her favourite game of bingo most afternoons and a few times in the evening each week, she had never won more than £560.

She said: "I was shouting and dancing around the hall when I realised how much I had won. It is just unbelievable. I never thought in a million years that this would happen to me.

"I didn't sleep much that night and first thing in the morning I rang my mum and said is it a dream?"

Her mum, who is Wendy's regular playing partner, stands to profit from her daughter's stroke of good luck as they will share the money between them.
