The Gaming Network (TGN), a licensee of bingo software provider Parlay Entertainment, has announced a deal that will see the provision of bingo sites to media company Emap.
TGN will provide online bingo sites to seven of Emap's consumer brands, all with a focus on the female population.
These include Magic FM, New Woman, the UK's leading website for 25-35 year old women, Top Sante, Mother & Baby, Yours, Garden Answers and Garden News.
Paul Voss, group licensing director at Emap consumer media, said: "The introduction of online bingo to Emap's media family will greatly contribute to our goal of providing 'must-have' entertainment and information to targeted communities.
"In particular, we are excited about the interactive nature of online bingo. For the first time, our readers and listeners will be able to communicate with each other and discuss shared interests, while enjoying a game they love."
The first online bingo site to go live will be Magic FM, with the others expected to appear throughout the second quarter of 2006.
"Emap's move into internet bingo validates our position that online gaming is becoming an important channel for media and retail brands in the UK," said Simon Beeson, managing director of TGN.
