Some people are just destined to be lucky and with a surname like Cashmore, it's worth having a flutter at a game of online bingo to test out the theory.

That's exactly what 22-year-old Gemma Cashmore, from the west Midlands, did - and now she is £4,172 richer for the experience.

The hotel manager was playing Sun Online Bingo, which since January 7th has handed out an incredible £1 million to bingo players, when she hit the jackpot.

She told the newspaper: "I couldn't believe it when I got two lines, then full house - and then realised I'd hit the jackpot.

"Now I can't stop shopping and I've still got enough left for a holiday later in the year."

Gemma became the 42nd player in two months to find jackpot joy on the 90-ball bingo site.
