28/04/2006The housewife from Wallsend, who doesn't want to be named, won an incredible £102,000 on the National Bingo Game at her local bingo club, the News Guardian reports.
The timing could not have been more apt, coming on the eve of her 55th birthday.
But on her big day it was her giving out the presents, after revealing she would split the money with her sister-in-law bingo partner.
She told the paper: "It was such a shock when they told me how much I had won and it still hasn't sunk in.
"I waited until I got home to tell my husband the good news and then I just blurted it out. He couldn't believe it either - he will have a new car and then we'll keep the rest until we need something."
