BINGO WINNER SETS SIGHTS ON PARIS
03/05/2006The 40-year-old mother-of-two was gobsmacked when she learned she was the National Bingo Game winner of £100,238 at her local Mecca Club, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner reports.
Her previous biggest win was £600 five years ago and she even admitted to being envious of a man who won £900 a short time before her own bingo triumph.
But now she will be the talk of the town after winning big and she plans to split the money with her playing partners, who just happen to be her mother and sister.
"The first thing we are all going to do is go to Euro Disney together with our families," she told the newspaper.
"We all live very near to each other and are very close."
And how did she celebrate one of the happiest days of her life? With a glass of bubbly and a Chinese takeaway – the luxurious lifestyle will take some getting used to!
