08/05/2006Well one woman from Cosham achieved that feat after 41 years of playing bingo and is now £52,875 better off for it, the National Bingo Game website reports.
The 63-year-old grandmother was playing at the Crown Club bingo hall on Cosham high street when she reached a full house in 39 calls.
She said: "I am not a lucky person so this was a great shock. I play bingo three times a week, and my previous biggest win was £300.
"I have been in the club when other people have won the National Game and never ever dreamed that one day it would be me."
The lady will be able to share her prize money with her husband, two children and four granddaughters.
