MECCA AND GALA TO LAUNCH MULTI-PLAYER BINGO SITES
24/03/2005Gala's parent company Rank Group, has sold off its DVD business in order to focus on gaming and Mecca, who already have an online operation offering bingo keno games, are going to get deeper into the business of UK online bingo.
Both operators have the advantage of major brand awareness but so far the most successful online bingo sites have been the ones where intimate communties can flourish. It will be a challenge for huge national companies to achieve the community spirit that online bingo players have grown accustomed to.
