BINGO MY WATERS HAVE BROKEN!
03/04/2005Clara Wade, of Carnforth, Lancashire had reached her due date. First babies are always late aren't they? Clearly not always. She was happily playing online bingo when her waters broke and she realised her labour was beginning.
She was winning actually and involved in her usual chat room banter and so the first thing she did was to tell the 50 or so people in the bingo chat room.
Clara said, "Obviously everyone thought I was joking because I announced it so calmly. It didn't occur to me to get myself to hospital, i just thought it would be cool for all the roomies to hear my news."
Luckily several of her fellow online bingo chatters reminded to Clara to get herself into gear, call the relevant people and go have her baby!
She gave birth to a baby girl 8 hours later and 2 days later was back online to introduce her new arrival. A true bingo baby!
