BINGO KITTY GOES TO CATS
31/07/2006The 48-year-old cat lover from Crawley was playing at the Gala Club bingo hall in Queensway when she scooped £101,042, the National Bingo Game website reports.
She had to start off the celebrations by herself though as she happened to be playing alone at the time, rather than with her usual playing partners of friends, daughter or sister-in-law.
After an "agonising" 20-minute wait to receive confirmation that she was the big winner, she admitted it was "overwhelming" to win all that money.
As for how to spend it, she said: "They [her cats] can definitely expect a nice collar and name tag each."
She will have to get used to spending some time without them though as she also plans to treat herself to a holiday to remember next year.
