The 35-strong group of bingo players, all believed to be over the age of 70, witnessed a row between one player and a member of staff get a little too heated, BBC News reports.
Police arrived at the centre in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, to restore order but not before all future bingo sessions at the venue were cancelled, much to the disappointment of the regulars.
One of them, Mary Robinson, commented: "There was an altercation between one of the group and the chap who was running the bingo which got a bit out of hand.
"It was hilarious when the police arrived and said they were going to arrest everyone. It was a dispute between two people but all of us were going to suffer," she added.
