21/04/2005A North American company called FirstBingo.com is to run an Internet and Television game show called TriviaBingo. Online bingo players can sign up at www.triviabingo.com and compete to win a place in the weekly TV show. At the end of each week the three highest daily point achievers are invited to attend the TV game show and compete for up to $100,000. Participants have to be resident of Canada or the United States.
This is a great new way of playing, perhaps appealing to a different type of online bingo player, where the thrill of the game is more important than the joining of a community. It will be interesting to see how well a bingo game translates to the small screen and what sort of lifespan this concept has...
