UK GETS ITS OWN CM VOTE
18/09/2006A sister site of WhichBingo.com, www.cmoftheyear.com will see the best CM in the UK crowned each month, after previously focussing on CMs worldwide since 2001.
With one in four votes for global CMs in July going towards those who were UK-based, it was only right that the UK had its own dedicated vote.
Jemima, from CM of the Year.com, explained: "Year after year, chatrooms and CMs became more and more popular, so we decided that they deserved their very own site. Since then the whole thing has just kept on growing.
"It's important to recognise the hard work done by CMs. It's not only a job but a hobby and a lifestyle. Players make real friendships through chat and CMs play host to that."
As a result, the site will now be publishing results at the end of each month with the respective winners of the UK and US awards.
