KERR CUTS MUSTARD TO MAKE BINGO CALLER FINAL
27/09/2006Alan Kerr, from the Wester Hailes Gala bingo club took the title of Scotland's best bingo caller to earn a place in the 12th final showdown, according to the Scotsman.
He now joins three other regional winners - Chris McHenry (north-west), Gary Wilson (north-east) and Brett Hyrjak (south) – in the grand finale.
The remaining two places are yet to be decided, with the regional finals for the Midlands and Wales taking place on Thursday September 28th and Friday September 29th respectively.
The final itself will be held on November 26th at Gala Bingo in Surrey Quays, London.
The 2005 winner, Karl Seth, has had a whirlwind year, appearing on Ready Steady Cook, holidaying in Las Vegas and representing the National Bingo Game Association.
