11/10/2006Grandmother Emma Maclennan has been playing bingo for three decades, but this was the first time that she had cleaned up in such style, the Daily Record reports.
She had been playing at the Carlton Club in Inverness when all her numbers came up after just 37 calls.
But despite acquiring such riches, Emma is proving to be the model employee as she says her win is academic as far as her job is concerned.
She told the paper: "I enjoy it, so I will keep it going. I am over the moon with the win but am still a little shell-shocked by it all and can't really believe it.
"I am totally gobsmacked. I am walking around in a daze and I don't know what planet I am on."
When she has managed to compose herself a little more, Emma plans to buy a new car, visit Ireland and have a Christmas to remember.
