The same can also be said of bingo callers, who week in, week out, witness bingo players land large sums of money while playing the game.
But one bingo caller from Furnace, Carmarthenshire, simply can't get enough of his job – even though he himself won an incredible £13 million on the Lotto, the Mirror reports.
Ken Henry, a 59-year-old father-of-two, felt his new-found fortune was a "bit boring" so decided to return to being a bingo caller at his village's rugby club.
"He earns more than £1,750 a day interest but misses having a laugh with his mates," a friend of his told the newspaper.
It means that Ken will be back on his £5-an-hour salary, although whether he need bother pick up his pay packet remains to be seen.
