SMOKING BAN BRINGS ONLINE JOY

But every cloud has a silver lining and this was certainly the case for one lucky lady who landed a £50,000 jackpot – playing online bingo.
Speaking to Glasgow's Evening Times, the Mecca bingo explained how the fact that she couldn't smoke at her bingo hall persuaded her to try her hand at online bingo instead.
Wanting to remain anonymous, the woman said: "I was a bit sceptical at first because I am not that good with computers, but it was really easy and I soon got the hang of it."
Mecca Bingo also told the newspaper that there had been a noticeable increase in the number of people playing online bingo since the introduction on the smoking ban.
