The bingo player, who wishes to remain anonymous, was playing the National Bingo Game at the Kingston Gala bingo club when all her numbers came up, the Surrey Comet reports.
However, according to the paper, the true identity of the winner is causing quite a stir in the Kingston area, with no shortage of conspiracy theories doing the rounds.
Many believe her to be a barmaid from one of the pubs in the Chessington area, which would certainly tie in with what she plans to do with the money.
A statement from the woman, released by the National Bingo Game, explained: "I might buy my own pub with my winnings. I have already done a management course and can now apply for a licence."
She added that she was "overwhelmed" when she found out she was the lucky winner and that "the news still hasn't sunk in".
