IT\'S A FAMILY AFFAIR
07/11/2006

Margaret Sanderson, a 69-year-old widow, said that she always uses the same booth at Mecca Bingo as her late husband when she goes to play her favourite game, which is fast becoming something of a group activity.

Daughter Denise, 39, told the region's Sunday Sun newspaper how the family are all attracted to the fun pastime.

"Practically the whole family come in here. My son is a chef so has to fit it round his shifts but he'll quite often call and say 'we're on our way, save us a table'," Ms Sanderson told the newspaper.

"On a night it's full of young people. They tend to come for a drink and a laugh before they go on to a pub or club. My other son has been with all his football mates and they won. My daughter's only 16 so still too young to play, but she's absolutely desperate to come. It's such a buzz."

Bingo is a great family game and with online bingo, whether your family lives five or 5,000 miles away, you can all get involved in the fun.
