The group, know as Marjon (The College of St Mark and St John) regularly promotes community education and social inclusion by sponsoring certain activities, local newspaper the Herald reports.
Marjon spokesperson, Terry West, told the paper that the idea behind the bingo set was inspired by its ability to "bring residents together in one space".
For those at the Nazareth House care home in Plymouth, the electronic bingo set, worth £250, should go down a treat.
Mel Kershaw, activities coordinator at the care home, commented: "It's made our bingo session a lot easier. Without this kind of donation we'd never have been able to afford a set. We're very, very grateful."
