Huge jackpot for Aintree woman
16/11/2006The unnamed 47-year-old woman won big at her local Gala Bingo Club in Croxteth, the same place she has been playing bingo for years, reports National Bingo.
"I was completely shocked when I realised I had won, but very, very pleased too," she said. "My children are thrilled."
She and her three children are now £100,000 richer after the woman heard her numbers being called out.
It is not the first time that she has won a prize at the Gala Bingo Club, having claimed a £6,500 win eight years ago.
That sum is eclipsed by her latest winnings, and the woman does not yet know how she will spend the cash.
"The first thing was to ensure my mum and sister got their share, as we have an agreement to split any winnings, but beyond that none of us have made any plans," she said, before adding: "It's a huge sum of money to think about."
