The Gala Bingo hall on Freshfield Road, Brighton was targeted by robbers, who gained access to the club at the end of a day of bingo.

Three men, wearing black tights on their heads to disguise themselves, made off with hundreds of pounds of bingo money.

During the robbery, the gang brandished knives, leaving those inside the bingo club fearing the worst.

According to Sussex Police, the men fled from the area in a black Mazda which was seen driving erratically in the direction of Eastern Road.

In August, £10,000 was stolen from the same bingo hall.
