BOGNOR BRETT IS BINGO BEST
28/11/2006Gala Bingo, in Surrey Quays, was packed to the rafters to see which regional winner would walk away with the coveted title.
It was Brett, from Bognor Regis, who held off competition from Mike Broad, Alan Kerr, Chris McHenry, Barbara Miller and Gary Wilson in the final.
Esther Rantzen was the celebrity in charge of the ceremony as she put the contestants through their paces.
She introduced all the bingo callers, who had to show off some of their skills, before signing autographs, answering questions and then finally presenting the all-important prizes.
Brett follows in the footsteps of 2005 winner Karl Seth, earning himself a fantastic trip to Las Vegas where he will have the chance to call the numbers at an American bingo venue.
