HOLIDAY ENDS ON A HIGH
28/11/2006Ethel Boyce, from Brighton, went on a five-day jolly to Bognor with her partner Sean and couldn't believe her luck when her numbers came up at the Crown Bingo Club, local newspaper the Argus reports.
The seaside town is sure to be her favourite holiday hotspot from now on though and she admitted that she is "going to carry on playing in the hope I get another big win".
She told the paper: "Neither of us could believe it when we realised I had won. We had a great time on holiday and now we really will have a wonderful Christmas with the winnings."
The festive season should certainly go off with a bang thanks to the winnings, with three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren looking forward to some special treats this year.
