04/12/2006The 54-year-old mother-of-four, who wished to remain anonymous, was only playing the numbers game for the 16th time ever, yet appears to have used up her luck all in one go.
Reaching a full house in 38 numbers, the woman won herself just over £202,000 at the Gala Bingo hall in Feltham, the Richmond & Twickenham Times reports.
She told the paper: "I only joined Gala bingo in September. My youngest daughter took up bingo a few months ago as a night out from the kids and she kept trying to persuade me to join her.
"I didn't fancy it and kept resisting but finally gave in. I play two or three times a week with her now and really enjoy it."
Having been made redundant from her job in March, the jackpot will ensure that she can enjoy a fun-filled festive period this year.
