The site will tempt customers with a range of personal circumstances to games priced on a sliding scale, as the popularity of online bingo continues to surge.

It will also offer an online chat facility enabling patrons to talk to friends online via the site, 24 hours a day.

Marketing firm Prego has been selected to develop William Hill's online bingo game, tailoring the brand towards their female-dominated target market.

The marketing campaign, which will aim to integrate online and offline marketing, will begin with a direct mail pack sent to the company's database followed by press advertisements strategically placed in women's magazines favoured by the target readership.

"It is important for us that we position bingo to best engage with the target audience," stressed Tony Cawood, head of remote marketing at William Hill.

Other elements of the William Hill online gaming offering include multiplayer Blackjack, Gin Rummy and Backgammon.
