The 36-year-old, who comes from Dumdryen, won more than £51,000 at his local Gala online bingo hall, despite having played the numbers game for less than a year.
Now, with his prize money, he can look forward to marrying his fiancee and fellow bingo fan.
"We've never had this much money before in our lives. It's life changing!" he said.
"We're so pleased we can finally get married."
In addition to organising the big day itself, the couple also plan to take themselves on holiday to Jamaica.
