08/03/2007The bonanza came at the Stafford Gala Bingo club, with the winner, Michelle Kilner from Rugeley, happy to return back to work at Morrisons and keep quiet about what she intends to do with her £200,000 win.
According to the Express and Star, the lucky win came at just the second time of asking for Michelle, who had only ever played bingo once before.
Gala Bingo says on its website that it pays out around £28 million in prizes every week, depending on ticket sales, and although Michelle only scooped a fraction of this, it is a life changing amount.
Last month, a care assistant from North Wales won a similar amount at a Gala Bingo club, scooping the national game prize as well as regional and club money.
