STILL BINGOING AT 95
22/03/2007

Local newspaper the Redditch Advertiser has highlighted the case of Edith Griffths, who makes it to the Royal British Legion Club each and every week to try her luck at the numbers game.

"She loves to be around people and wouldn't miss it for the world. She even manages to make it out for a dance on a Saturday night if she can," Edith's daughter, Val Egginton said, according to the newspaper.

And if Edith ever wins big on her beloved pastime, she certainly has plenty of willing recipients for a bit of the bonanza.

The newspaper notes that Edith's family extends to seven children, 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

There are also three great-great-grandchildren to throw into the mix, should Edith's numbers come up!

In Pittsburgh, Icie Clark, who recent celebrated her 100th birthday, is still known to have a game of bingo herself, according to the region's Post-Gazette.
