NEW BINGO CLUB FOR HIGH WYCOMBE
27/03/2007In news that is sure to delight bingo fans across the south-east, a nightclub or a bingo hall are being mooted as possible additions to a nearby complex, which is currently being built by Helical Bar.
"We're looking at the requirements to improve the daytime and evening facilities by bringing in new operators - possibly a kids' activity centre or it could be a nightclub or bingo," said Michael Slade, chief executive of Helical Bar, according to the Bucks Free Press.
If a new bingo hall was installed in the Wycombe venue, it would buck the recent trend that has seen a number if Mecca Bingo Online clubs across the UK scheduled to close and the Bingo Association mount a campaign to raise awareness of the state of UK bingo.
The new club would join the other bingo halls that can be found in High Wycombe, including three Gala Bingo venues and a number of Mecca Bingo Online establishments.
