Some 20 uk bingo fans who meet each week in Luton are keen to work out who has dumped rubbish on land near the Scouts hut where they play, Bedford Today reports.
The news comes as the Sells 7th Scout Group in Birdsfoot Lane found rubbish including planks of wood and corrugated iron dumped in front of their hut last week.
According to the publication, the group is now hoping that local bingo players who use the hut could solve the crime.
About 20 uk bingo players gather each Tuesday night at the hut, which is surrounded by a 7 ft security fence.
The fence was installed last year at a cost of £8,000, Bedford Today claims, but was not enough to prevent the wood and metal from being left by the hut.
Alan Wood of Sells 7th Scouts was presented with a commendation for good service last year, the group states.
