Officials from the Massachusetts State Lottery told the Boston Globe of plans to create a bingo show which could allow viewers to play along at home.
Previously, the state launched a variation of Keno featuring animated cars, with betting similar to wagering on a horse race.
When fully active, the new game is expected to earn an additional $40 million (£20.3 million) each year.
State treasurer Timothy Cahill told the publication of the gaming regulator's hopes for the new formats.
"We're pushing really hard because we don't want to have a down year," he explained.
Mr Cahill added: "What we're trying to do is a bunch of exciting little things."
Keno accounted for some 18 per cent of the state's gaming revenue last year following an increase of $3.3 million in earnings over the past 12 months.
The Massachusetts State Lottery took control of the state's bingo activities in 1973 and states that 64,000 people played the game weekly in 2002.
