SCHOOL CHEF COOKS UP BINGO WIN
24/04/2007

The Leigh woman claimed an equal share in the £50,000 national game, according to the Leigh Reporter.

This meant a £16,666 slice of the bingo pie in addition to a £2,137 regional prize and the house bonus of £150.

She told the publication: "I was so shocked when I realised how much I had won that I just couldn't carry on playing afterwards - and I'm still in shock now!"

Her lucky win came at the town's BJ's club, where the woman said she has been playing for two of her eight years as a uk bingo fan.

After making bingo in 46 balls, she had to share the full amount with two players from London and Wakefield who had achieved the same feat.

Players at afternoon and evening sessions on Sunday, April 29th at BJ's bingo hall in Leigh are advised by the club that they may expect to receive a free copy of Now That's What I Call a Music Quiz on DVD.
