BINGO GRAN PLANS BIG SPEND
30/04/2007

The 74-year-old pensioner from Northfield states that she intends to carry on playing in search of her next big win.

Despite the six-figure national jackpot, the spend-happy mother-of-three expects to run out of cash before long.

"I'll definitely need to keep playing because the money will soon go and I'll need another win," she says.

"I love a game of uk bingo," continues the winner, who has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her family members are among those to benefit, with one of her daughters to receive a 50 per cent share in the win.

The prize was secured at the Gala Bingo club in Birmingham and was a case of third time lucky.

Previously, the woman, who calls herself "usually the unluckiest person in the whole world", claimed £1,000 and £2,000 wins.

The Birmingham Great Park Gala Bingo hall invites its players to compete on a Tuesday night for the fixed fee of £10, which covers books for the entire session.
