BINGO WIN TO PROVIDE FOR RAINY DAY
30/04/2007The 60-year-old woman revealed her surprise after winning over £20,000 at the Gala Bingo club in Salford.
"I couldn't stop shaking when I realised how much I had won," she said.
"It was a big surprise," she added, explaining that while some will be saved "for a rainy day", she does have plans to spend a little.
Some of the things she intends to buy include a plasma screen and new carpets, she stated.
The mother-of-four and grandmother-of-11 has been a member of the club in Salford's Hankinson Way since it opened.
She continued that she enjoys the game daily at the club and has been playing for some 25 years in total.
Historically, the Salford club has seen its fair share of wins, including a £100,000 jackpot in November 2005.
