06/06/2007Bargoed bingo fan Joline started taking part in the national game the day after her 18th birthday, the operating body stated.
And almost exactly five years later, the dental nurse - 23 on Tuesday, May 29th - scooped the £100,000 national jackpot.
Game operator National UK Bingo reported that while the winner plays twice a week at the Castle Club in Merthyr Tydfil, her parents and sister were at the company's hall in Nantgarw when news of the win came in.
Although they knew their relative was taking part in the national game at the victorious venue, they did not suspect she had claimed the jackpot herself.
"You dream of winning a big amount but never in a million years really think it will happen to you," Joline told National Bingo.
"I couldn't move when they announced how much I had won - I just sat and cried."
Earlier in the month, a 53-year-old woman received a £100,000 prize while playing at the same bingo hall.
The previous six-figure win at the Merthyr Tydfil Castle Club was nearly two years ago on September 4th, 2005.
