Some £190 was raised for Templetots Playgroup through the event, money that was kindly matched pound-for-pound by Barclays as part of its Community Investment Programme.
"This is a great example of Barclays staff fundraising with the local community to achieve something which we hope will make a real and lasting difference," said Jean King, community manager, according to Tenby Today.
It is reported that the funding raised through the bingo event will allow the playgroup to purchase IT equipment, while the occasion proves that uk bingo is a great draw as a charitable money raising event.
Ms King added that Barclays "strives" to work with the local communities it is a part of, supporting a range of causes.
Locals of the south-west Wales town of Tenby who have got the bingo bug won't even have to wait until there is another fundraiser, thanks to bingo on the internet.
