LEICESTER BINGO PLAYERS STILL LUCKY
19/06/2007

Following a number of big wins for bingo fans from nearby Hinckley, a 64-year-old Leicester woman has added to the total claimed by local players.

And she explained that her fellow uk bingo fanatics were as delighted by her win as she was.

"Everyone was lovely and coming up to congratulate me," she told game operator National Bingo.

"It is a great club and there is a nice crowd of people that go there," the lucky winner added.

Her relatives could also stand to benefit from a long-standing agreement to share all winnings equally.

While this usually means the winner, her niece and two sisters split about £10 between them, in this case the jackpot was £50,000.

A previous £50,000 prize was claimed in Hinckley last month, while a player from the town recently took an £81,000 bounty in a Birmingham club.
