NO WORRIES FOR BINGO WINNER
25/06/2007

The 73-year-old winner of a recent national jackpot stated that the prize has removed her money worries.

And she added that life is likely to be "more relaxed" from now on, reports National Bingo.

The pensioner told the industry body of her shock at seeing her numbers come up after a 20-year wait.

But with a payout of £1,000 for every year she has played the game, she claimed she had not expected the five-figure sum.

"I honestly hadn't realised how much I was playing for - it's still hard to believe," she said to the game operator.

"We won't need to worry now about where the next bit of money is coming from," she continued.

The Corby Stardust club which saw the win has claimed a string of jackpots in the past including two £100,000 prizes in 2004 and a further two in 2006, National Bingo advises.
