UK BINGOER SWAPS HOUSE FOR HOUSE
26/06/2007

The word 'house' has a whole new meaning for the 42-year-old UK bingoer from Enfield who recently claimed a £50,000 national jackpot.

For while the winner stated that she has not yet decided exactly what to do with the money, she suggested it may go towards a deposit to help buy a new property.

The winner told National Bingo of plans to purchase a flat - but added that she will have to get over the shock of winning first.

"I just couldn't believe it when I realised how much I had won," she told the game operator.

And the surprise may be understandable, as the winner revealed she has been playing the game for years, with this her first big win.

"Both my mum and I were in shock and couldn't carry on playing the rest of the session," she added.

It seems UK bingoers from Paisley are made of sterner stuff, as a £20,000 winner from the town recently completed the remainder of the session despite securing the five-figure sum.
