Following bingo wins of £150 and £300, a £50,000 national jackpot completed a hat trick of prizes.

 

And the big prize came as a big shock, the winner told game operator National Bingo.

 

The 26-year-old said: "I had already won £150 and £300 over the past few weeks so I never expected to win again."

 

"My mum and I both jumped in the air when we realised I'd won, but then I just sat down and cried," she added.

 

Her mother is to share in the winnings after introducing the bingoer to the game eight years ago.

 

And they revealed that she too took up the pastime at the age of 18 when her own mother encouraged her to try it out.

 

The lucky club in Ashton-under-Lyne also saw a £100,000 jackpot presented to one of its players on April 7th.
