FIVE FIGURE BINGO WIN FOR REBECCA
23/07/2007The Leeds-based Gala Bingo club in Stonebridge Lane saw one of its players scoop a £10,000 national jackpot.
And 29-year-old Rebecca revealed that she has only played bingo twice in the past three years.
Her decision to attend the club was prompted by her grandmother's 67th birthday, as the family wanted to treat her to a session of the game, the winner told National Bingo.
"We all carried on playing afterwards but my sister and I just laughed all the way through the next game," she explained.
"My older sister was supposed to be joining us but she couldn't find her cars keys so was unable to come."
Rebecca and her partner Neil are now planning a holiday, as well as clearing some of their mortgage with the prize money.
A 76-year-old woman from Cannock recently told the game operator that she plans to save a £20,000 jackpot as she is "not one for going out spending for the sake of it".
