FATE BRINGS ABOUT BINGO WIN
26/07/2007

The £50,000 national uk bingo jackpot was shared between two players recently.

And one of them - 56-year-old former jockey Keith Armstrong - revealed a change of plans brought about his £25,000 bingo win.

Mr Armstrong, who is now an independent financial adviser, completed his full house in 44 calls at the Gala Bingo club in Poole - the same as a Doncaster-based player.

"The Gala Bingo is a very friendly club and everyone stood up and clapped and congratulated me," he told game operator National Bingo.

"The win really all seems down to fate as I normally only go to uk bingo in the evening."

He added that the decision to play on the Saturday afternoon was inspired by a visit from his brother who lives in America.

Gala Bingo players at the Poole club have now claimed over £400,000 in jackpots, according to National Bingo statistics.
