30/07/2007Following a four-way tie in reaching a full house, the £45,000 national uk bingo jackpot was shared equally between the winners, the game's operating body explains.
And for one of the four, the prize came just in time for her August wedding, National Bingo adds.
The 37-year-old tells the operator: "I was in Norwich preparing for the wedding on the date of my win, which is why I went to the Mecca Bingo club that day."
"I'm very glad I did," she adds, although she reveals that she felt "excited, nervous and sick all at the same time" when the win was announced.
It was previously reported that a Dumdryden bingoer who had never been able to afford a wedding planned to marry his partner of seven years using money scooped from the £50,000 national jackpot.
