GOOD REPUTATION FOR PETERBOROUGH GALA BINGO
01/08/2007A 51-year-old winner recently visited the Peterborough Gala Bingo club on her sister's recommendation.
And her visit may add to the good impression of the venue, as she became the second player in 24 hours to win a £25,000 national uk bingo jackpot.
She revealed to the game operator that her regular destination for a game of bingo is the Gala Bingo club in Grantham.
"My sister persuaded me to play at Peterborough because she had heard how good the club was," the lucky winner told National Bingo.
The previous day's jackpot was presented to a 76-year-old Leicester man who had also made the trip to play at the Peterborough hall.
Assistant manager of the club Sam Gangat told the operating body: "We must be doing something right here as people are travelling great distances to come and play bingo with us."
The prizes take the total amount won by members of the club to more than £650,000, according to National Bingo figures.
