The 69-year-old man told game operator National Bingo that his children are also likely to go on holiday using part of the money.
But he added that he will need to feel the cheque in his hand before he will truly believe the five-figure sum.
"I couldn't sleep that night and it still hasn't really sunk in," he explained.
"It must have been my lucky week because the very next night I won another £177 there."
The big bingo win came at the Orion club in Cleveleys, which paid out a total of £137,000 in 2006, according to National Bingo figures, including the £100,000 national jackpot.
